Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-known Fabrication & Welding company in their search for a **General Operative** to work in their main production workshop based in **Llandrindod Wells**

**For the successful General Operative our client is offering**:
i. £28,080 per annum
ii. Days role, Monday to Friday 7am to 4:30pm
iii. Overtime at x1.5 in the week after 40 hours - Lots of overtime available
vi. Training and development opportunities
v. Permanent Role

**The Role - General Operative**
i. Machine setting and operation in the workshop
ii. Working alongside welders
iii. Use of an FLT counterbalance truck (Training provided)
iv. Fabrication of metal products from drawings (Training and guidance provided)
v. Manual handling
vi. Uisng hand and power tools

**What our client is looking for in a General Operative**
i. Previous experience working in a manufacturing/Engineering company **ESSENTIAL**
ii. Currently hold an engineering/manufacturing related qualification **BENEFICIAL**
iii. Currently hold an in-date counterbalance licence **BENEFICIAL**
iv. Previous experience of metal fabrication work **BENEFICIAL**
v. Previous experience of machine setting & operation **BENEFICIAL**
