**Events Executive**
Motorpoint PLC is looking for an exceptional Events Executive to support in the development and execution of new and existing opportunities to drive awareness and engagement to support business. As a key member of the marketing team, you will source external event opportunities for each store, organise all event logistics, event staff and event marketing to include social media. You will look at each event as a unique opportunity to ensure core messages are represented and communicated consistently and that we optimise every opportunity to increase brand exposure and awareness across our marketing mix. **Key requirements of the role**:

- Support the Sponsorship, Partnership and Charity Manager to review and implement/execute Partnership and Sponsorship strategies to help deliver planned business growth
- Work with all of our stores to support on local external event and instore event opportunities.
- Creative, building into every event brief an opportunity to increase website/store traffic / local social media reach through pre and post event initiatives and experiential on event activity.
- Able to engage the wider team to ensure your campaigns are brought to life through all channels, taking accountability for final delivery
- Working with the brand manager to ensure all creative adheres to the brand guidelines
- Responsible for the allocation/distribution of all sponsorship/partnership assets
- Support the Sponsorship, Partnership and Charity Manager to plan and deliver activity to drive footfall to our stores and raise money for our chosen charity
- Offer support and guidance to stores for local charitable partner activity they wish to undertake
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of all events activity, constantly learning and adapting the plans to improve performance and deliver against the overall strategies
- Personal leadership, responsible for driving own results
- Availability to work weekends is an essential requirement of the role.

**Required skills/experience**:

- Ability to work with internal marketing teams to create engaging campaigns that can be executed across all channels
- Experience in managing, creating and executing local footfall driving activities to include charitable events
- Confident communicator and able to clearly explain strategic and operational activity
- Experience in event planning and logistics both on and off the event site.
- Great writing, research, attention to detail and communications skills are absolute requirements

- Excellent technical communicator, both written and verbally, but also just conversationally
- You must have a passion for understanding the market, the business, our competitors, and where you can differentiate Motorpoint from the rest of the pack
- Willing to travel regularly within the UK to stores, events, sponsorship partners both during the week and at weekends too and therefore a full driving licence and car is required
- Well organised, with a logical approach and the ability to prioritise accordingly
- Thorough and persistent, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Open minded, willing to give and receive feedback to improve performance
- Able to take responsibility for their own actions and decisions
