**Content Creator**

We are looking for a Content Creator to join The Oxford Collection; a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and three restaurants that consists of the Old Bank Hotel, Old Parsonage Hotel, Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant, and Quod. Having very recently undergone a complete refurbishment programme, we have 78 bedrooms across two iconic properties in central Oxford, with unrivalled views across the city’s beautiful skyline.

In a supporting role, you will report to the Brand & Content Manager, as well as external consultants, agencies and other internal teams, to execute the wider marketing strategy set by the Director of Operations and Proprietor.

**Key Responsibilities (but not limited to) Include**:
**Copywriting & Content Creation**
- Plan, develop and implement the overall Company content strategy
- Create unique resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness
- Lead on the day-to-day management of our digital channels, creating inspirational, informative and engaging content
- Plan, produce and create of a programme of digital content to be used across all our digital channels, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
- Create graphics and edit photos, working with the internal/external design team when necessary
- Adhere to the internal policies and procedures
- Support the copywriting for hotel packages, restaurant offers, and general website content
- Work with the Head of HR to develop and implement an Employer Value Proposition (EVP). Prepare and edit internal publications, including employee newsletters, initiatives and announcements, alongside the Head of HR
**Social Media Marketing**
- Create, manage and schedule all social media content
- Actively engage with our social media followers
- Increase our followers across all active social media platforms
- Promote our brand stories and identities and market our businesses in a way that fits with brand values.
- Produce a monthly report of social media and content marketing activity
**PR & Comms**
- Coordinate all PR, influencer and media enquiries; and arrange interviews, statements, etc.
- Write and deliver press releases and other communications, in consultation with the wider team, for news and special events and/or offers occurring in the collection
- Write regular blog posts for specified affiliation partners
- Maintain affiliate listings online and source back link opportunities
- Explore all event lists and opportunities with local community partners and pursue beneficial collaborations/partnerships
- Communicate with media regularly and respond to requests for information with brand-appropriate stakeholders
- Secure free and sponsored press editorials to increase brand awareness and publicise planned promotions
- Support the administration of the Mogford Prize at every stage of the process, working closely with the externally appointed prize administrator; ensuring judges and entrants are communicated within a professional and timely manner
**Marketing Research & Administration**
- Study TOC’s objectives, promotional policies, and marketing objectives to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote our core hospitality experiences
- Establish and maintain a positive public image for brands belonging to The Oxford Collection through the strategic management of relationships with consumers, the community, employees, and public interest groups.
- Support, execute and implement an annual marketing strategy and seasonal promotions through relevant content initiatives and supported with relevant research.
- Support the updating of all brand websites where applicable
**Person Specification**:

- Degree in Marketing or related field would be beneficial
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Energy, enthusiasm and proven experience in producing digital content and digital best practice, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector
- Knowledge and experience of running digital marketing campaigns
- Fluent in written and spoken English with a high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing
- Experience in creating various types of content such as social media posts, newsletters, press releases, blogs, etc.
- Experience using web content management systems, preferably Wordpress
- Experience developing and managing social media campaigns across channels such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
- Strong creative skills and a keen eye for detail
- Experience of photography and creating/editing images, using packages such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
