5.Lead on the day to day running of the clinical and non-clinical recruitment and onboarding processes, with support from the HR Coordinators. 6.Support managers with recruitment and selection strategies and assisting with and developing innovative recruitment campaigns tailored to each post. 7.Ensure that streamlined processes are followed for starters and leavers within the organisation and that information flows effectively to the Management team and other relevant departments. 8.With administrative support from the HR Coordinators, lead on personnel compliance at the point of recruitment and during employment/engagement, accurately processing all compliance documentation including pre-employment and right-to-work checks and training compliance.
9.Lead on all contractual changes, including coordination of flexible working requests, other changes to role or contracted hours, and leading on the exit process for staff. 10.Lead on the management and updating of HR Policies and Procedures, providing support to line managers and staff in following these correctly. 11.Support the Associate Director of Workforce in conjunction with the wider HR team in the development and delivery of HR strategy meeting the needs of the organisation and its workforce. 12.Assist with routine requests from employees and the management team on recruitment, training and general HR queries.
13.Assist when necessary in the coordination and delivery of the corporate induction session for all new starters, ensuring that this is achieved within the required timescales. 14.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders when arranging training courses. 15.Maintain an accurate and secure filing system for correspondence, in both paper and electronic forms where appropriate, in particular in relation to matters relating to sensitive information including disciplinary matters. 16.To action all tasks in a professional, timely and efficient manner and to promptly inform the Associate Director of Workforce of any issues or delays.
17.To work autonomously, managing own workload effectively but referring to colleagues within the HR & Training team as necessary. 18.To use tact and discretion when dealing with telephone calls from staff, patients, and others, in particular when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. 19.To adhere to all CHOC Policies and Procedures. 20.Participate in and ensure own on-going development.
21.To maintain a high level of confidentiality and comply with the Data Protection Act. Be aware of the nature of information dealt with and work in a manner which ensures confidentiality and security. 22.Undertake any other activities deemed appropriate and necessary by the organisation.
