**Role Overview**

We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic professional with a passion for investing to join our Sales and Client Relations team.

As the Head of Sales and Client Relations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by leading the sales and client relations team.

**Responsibilities**:
**Sales and Business Development**
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including networking events, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the firm's offerings.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and establish and maintain strategic partnerships to drive business growth with a focus on wealth managers and IFAs in the UK

**Client Relations**
- Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with existing clients, understanding their investment goals, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Work closely with internal and external teams, including portfolio management, operations, and fund administrators to ensure seamless client experiences.

**Marketing**
- Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and market positioning.
- Oversee the creation of compelling campaigns and content.
- Utilize market research and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all marketing channels in line with product positioning and brand identity.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.

**Management & Reporting**
- Lead the Sales and Client Relations team providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Maintain regular reporting to clients (factsheets, quarterly letters), funds databases and platforms.
- Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client retention, and market trends for senior leadership.
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget effectively.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

**Job Requirements**

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales and business development within asset management
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Have a network of relationships with wealth managers and IFA firms in the UK.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and client needs.
- In-depth knowledge of investment products including UCITS funds
- Experience with fund platforms
- Experience with institutional DDQs
- Effective planning, organisation and time-management skills
- Strong IT skills and experience with CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively inside the UK and internationally.
