**Senior Client Relations Manager**

The Murano Connect research desk conducts market research about institutional investors' allocations, writes up the research and communicates it to its clients. The senior members of the team, of which the Manager is one, are responsible for the developmentof the team and the quality and flow of the research reports delivered to clients.

The Senior Client Relations Manager role is an exciting opportunity for a professional with over 5 years' experience to join a growing team of analysts. The Manager will be jointly responsible for training new analysts and conducting team-wide projects tohelp measure and make more efficient the output of the team. The role will involve working closely with other senior members of the team including Senior Analysts and the Head of Research.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
- Managing and improving telephone outreach projects across 5 teams of analysts, reporting back on progress regularly.
- Conducting desk-wide projects to help coordinate the efforts of the team and make efficiencies on the desk. Projects will often be tracked through Excel.
- Training new starters in basic telephone-based outreach and report writing.
- Monitoring the performance of new starters and reporting back on their progress.
- Monitoring the progress of all Analysts and reporting this back to the Head of Research. Encourage and support all Analysts to progress through the internal performance goals and promotions. Encourage eligible analysts to do relevant exams.
- Being on-hand to support the analysts and the Head of Research.
- Monitoring analysts' use of the CRM system and correcting trainees' inputting of data.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of the Asset Management Industry including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, etc.
- Client relations experience
- Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstration of a professional attitude and a willingness to learn.

**Beneficial to have**
- Experience in an outbound phone based sales or research role in which client servicing is important to success.
- Experience in either an asset management company or a company servicing the asset management industry such as broking, research or consultancy.
- Technical knowledge related to funds, asset classes and fund strategies whether in hedge funds, mutual funds, private markets or other strategies.
- Experience of having worked with and trained interns or new graduates.
- An industry qualification such as CFA, CAIA or IMC.
