Making A Difference as A Cemetery Operative in the Place Directorate.

Experience of manual work, a good knowledge of Health & Safety principals and safe working practices is essential. Frontline skills and good customer care is also necessary, as you will need to liaise with Funeral Directors, Stone Masons, the Friends Group an members of the public. You should also be able to communicate well with the bereaved and colleagues.
You should be flexible and approachable, be able to demonstrate initiative to improve the service provided to the bereaved, be able to work to tight deadlines, follow written procedures and complete day to day paperwork, and be a team player. A full driving licence is essential.
