- **Working in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Council, EQUANS is looking for a School Crossing Patrol Officer to join our team in Grimsby on a permanent basis. This is a part-time role working 5 hours per week (During term time only). On offer is a salary of £2125.50, dependant upon skills and experience as well as benefits package which includes an additional monthly allowance of £21.80.**

**What will you deliver?**
- Responsible for ensuring the safety of pedestrians whilst on the crossing point in a variety of traffic flows
- Postholder must be physically fit as they are required to stand and walk for the length of their duty in all weather conditions, all year round
- Carry out EQUANS and NEL Council’s policy with regard to the School Crossing Patrol Service, this includes Health and Safety Procedures
- Understand the value and usefulness of performance information and appreciate the need to monitor our progress
- Have a clear focus on the key priorities for the company and the impact an individual’s work can make on whichever priority(ies) are covered by their service area.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Able to communicate effectively with children and adults alike
- Able to work unsupervised after induction and have the ability to time keep
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
- Experience of working in or around a school environment (Desirable).

This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred List check therefore ability to pass is essential.
