In this role, you will be part of the small team contributing to supporting the business objective of minimizing the impact of both our clean water and wastewater operations on the environment.

**What you’ll be doing**
- **Lead the co-ordination all Environment Agency requests** for information which include Pollution Information Requests, Compliance Assessment Reports, and Schedule Part B Notifications, ensuring responses are sent to the Environment Agency in a timely manner
- Facilitate and manage **business reporting of these information requests**:

- **Provide technical advice** by contributing to our peer review system and be expected to provide critical feedback to peers as appropriate.
- Contribute to the preparation of mitigation and defense evidence through interrogation of company systems and records. This information is used in communication with Eversheds Sutherland, senior management, and the EA.

Please not this is fixed term contract for 6 monthes

**What you should bring to the role**
- A **good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint **is essential. Must have the ability to write professionally to produce reports. Ability to interpret data, and communicate this verbally as well as in writing is essential
- **An Environmental Science degree** would be advantageous.
- Relevant experience in an applicable sector, operational role, technical position or knowledge of wastewater and/or clean water processes would be advantageous
- Ability to understand Environmental Legislation and Regulation,have awareness of the EA’s Common Incident Classification Scheme, 16_02 and Compliance Classification Scheme
- Ability to travel to sites across our entire Thames Water area for training & team building. Driving license and access to own car would be advantageous.
