Finance Apprentice

**About The Role**:
We currently have an amazing opportunity in our Finance Department as we are recruiting for an Finance Apprentice to join our team at allpay Limited, based at our Hereford Head Office.

You will join an extremely friendly, professional and dedicated Finance team who pride themselves on delivery of accurate information to a high standards.

Within this role You will:

- Support in the set-up, amendment and closure of client details within the accounting package, processing of client invoices, responding to client queries and escalating as necessary with the Credit Controllers.
- Be timely and Accurate when processing supplier invoices, checking supplier statements to ledger and requesting copy invoices where necessary. Also support in the generation and processing of the two monthly and ad-hoc supplier payments, including upload to online banking platform.
- Support with the processing and Management of staff expenses, including the completion of the monthly reconciliation of transactions ensuring all transactions are accounted for correctly.
- Complete cashbook entries into the Sage accounting system, of both payments and receipts in an accurate and timely manner.

- _Have an organised and methodical approach to working with an ability to work independently and as part of a team._
- _Computer literate, with working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook_
- Please note that after 12 months in post, in line with the Government guidelines, the salary for this role will increase to the National Living Wage which is currently £21,255._
