Job description

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Refugee Forum is a vibrant local charity, working with and for asylum seekers and refugees. We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic individual to become our new Caseworker, working specifically with destitute and refused asylum seekers. You will hold a caseload of clients, and provide responsive, professional, user-centred support and advice, working with all relevant agencies as required.

You will have recent experience of providing casework support to clients, and ideally would have worked with refugees and asylum seekers before. Excellent communication skills are required, as you will need to liaise and negotiate with clients and external agencies and have the ability to manage expectations.
