Finance Graduate

_Electrocomponents are currently seeking a _Finance Graduate to support the development of their Group consolidation and planning system on a 12 month contract potentially leading to permanent role within Finance_
- This_ role has flexible working hours and is a hybrid role with time shared between working from home and in the office in Corby, Northamptonshire._
- 37.5 hrs per week_

Previous OneStream experience is not required as training will be provided. Strong analytical and logical skills will be necessary to understand the new finance system that is based on a matrix model (e.g. Accounts broken down by cost centre by product categories )which uses different dimensions. This role will be best suited for a STEM graduate with up to 2 years work experience with an interest in business studies or finance. Basic coding knowledge (Visual Basic) is advantageous but a willingness to learn is essentialas the role will involve understanding and amending basic coding to improve system performance. Training and support within the team will be provided.

As is role is part of a change journey there is scope for future employment with Electrocomponents group within Group Finance in a Group Account /System administrator type of role or in the wider Electrocomponents organisation.

**Essential**:

- Strong analytical skills
- Quick to grasp new concepts
- Basic coding knowledge (Visual Basic) or willingness to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to 'think outside the box'
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good Excel skills

**Desirable but not essential**:

- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI, Domo, SAP BO, OracleBI ) and/or consolidation and forecasting tools (e.g. OneStream, Hyperion, Anaplan )
- Previous experience in an international organisation and thereby able to demonstrate good cultural awareness and appreciation, ideally within a matrix-based structure
- System implementation experience
