**Role Purpose**

The purpose of this role is to develop and lead the firm’s overall marketing and communications’ efforts to drive measurable, quality outcomes for clients, prospects, employees and senior management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Own the WS brand and ensure there is a clear consistent brand voice and differentiation vs other firms in the market. Overall storytelling quality, tone of voice, and end-to-end development of marketing collateral.
- Lead the ideation and production of an active pipeline of content delivered through various media, that reassures existing clients and engages/excites prospects.
- Strategic delivery of marketing objectives that reassure existing clients and reaching and engaging new prospects - including assessing new channels and being clear on measuring their effectiveness.
- To be a persuasive communicator, comfortable with collaborating with senior peers as well as with managing and mentoring direct reports
- To work collaboratively with Client Service to achieve marketing objectives, including building up prospect leads
- To work collaboratively with Distribution Partners and where appropriate actively lead to ensure best result for WS
- To make sure client understanding is at the heart of all external communications and activity

**Technical Skills and Knowledge**
- Demonstrable understanding of how brands work and role of different marcomms channels for business growth
- Experience of creating content across different channels, best practise of CRM and digital media - owned, earned and paid.
- Institutional Marketing Investment Management experience, ideally Global/US.
- Experienced Leader of a Marketing and Communications team
- Good understanding of regulations that impact Marketing and Communications and ensuring Compliance

**Academic/Professional Qualifications**

Educated to degree level or above, alongside evidence of continuing professional development
