Travel Consultants are the first point of contact for our customers and the face of Edwards Coaches. Providing excellent customer service, you will be focused on delivering a quality service whilst achieving pre-set sales targets.
- Offer expert advice about Edwards holidays, travel options and availability, helping to guide the customer into making an appropriate holiday choice.
- Manage customers’ expectations by ensuring they are clear about what to expect from Edwards Holidays during the reservation and confirmation process
- You will maximise the sales opportunities through promotion of the Company’s travel products and services.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate and comprehensive records of all enquiries, quotes, sales, and all communications relating to them, to ensure we are able to provide customers with continuity and maximise our efficiency.
- Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials.
- Act as a host / hostess on our Red Dragon coach holidays at selected times throughout the year;
- Provide excellent customer services to all of our customers / potential customers;
- Use a booking system to secure holidays.
- Collect and process payments.
- Advise clients on travel arrangements, e.g. visas and passports.
- Keep clients up to date with any changes.
- Meet and greet tour departures from head office and alternative locations as necessary.
- Daily Administration duties, including complaints and refunds.
- Any other duties as requested by your Manager.

**Work Experience**

Proven experience in a customer service environment. Retail travel background preferred but not essential.
Experience of target driven sales environment

**Knowledge and Skills**

Able to demonstrate strong customer service skills
Excellent telephone and face to face communication skills
Basic IT skills
Industry knowledge preferred
