**About The Job** Salary**:£24,294 to £24,702 per annum.

**Working Pattern**: Full time, 37 hours per week.

**Contract**: Permanent.

**Location**: Chichester with hybrid working options.

West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (WSFRS) provides a friendly and welcoming environment, developing people, and helping them to reach their goals.

The team you will be joining, provides first-class fundamental support to departments across WSFRS.

You will maintain a customer centred service around all elements of the employee life cycle. Some of your daily tasks will include:

- Responding to manager and employee queries.
- Giving standard information and guidance relating to the team function.
- Supporting recruitment events.
- Preparing contracts and letters.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Calculating pay and other entitlements.
- Booking medicals.
- Producing reports.

You will be responsible for your own areas of work and will also be expected to support other team members as needed.
**Key Skills**:

- Ability to complete tasks accurately with strong attention to detail.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills, with ability to build and maintain working relationships.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to manage business and employee information with confidentiality, discretion, and sensitivity.
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines and objectives, balancing competing demands and priorities.
