**Metalis**are once again partnering with a specialist in their industry in sourcing for a **Design Engineer**. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Engineer and wider design department.

This is a **Monday - Friday**Role on a days regular pattern, however there may be some need to stay away when travelling. In return our client will pay **£30- 35,000.**You will need to be a strong communicator, detailed, and must have some design work experience.

**Main Duties**:

- Communicating with all relevant internal & external stakeholders.
- Interpret and manage customers' expectations in line with their requirements.
- Preparation of documents inclusive of; Bill of Materials, Detailed Drawings, Relevant documentation, Work permits.
- Use of Inventor, Solidworks and AutoCAD for design of 2D & 3D drawings.
- Following of detailed design briefs.
- Working with the project management team and keeping an open channel of communication.
- Travelling to customers as and when required.
- Daily communications with customer base.

**About You**:

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD those with Inventor will also be considered.
- A brilliant communicator able to adjust their approach as needed.
- Incredibly organised. This role will involve lots of plate spinning.
- Experience managing sites and overseeing installations.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical practices.
- Able to read and interpret drawings.
- A key team player.
