**Job Title**:Waiting List Coordinator

**Location**:Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital, St Peters Road, Margate, CT9 4AN

**Hours**:37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri, 8am - 4pm or 8:30am - 4:30pm

**Pay Banding**: Band 3 - £12.45 per hour

**Trust Location**:East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust

**What you’ll be responsible for**:
A band 3 Administrator will be a flexible resource to support teams in the provision of services to include organisation of work for self and other team members and may have front line contact with service users, carers, the general public or other external stakeholders, as well as internal colleagues. Administrators will support one or more team(s). The focus of these posts will be less on volume typing and preparation of correspondence and more on customer service, organisation e.g. diary management and organising meetings and events + maintenance of effective and efficient working systems and supporting business and performance management. Providing day-to-day supervision, and delegating tasks to the Administrative Assistant where these form part of the team.

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
