Installation Labourer

We currently have a vacancy for a Installation Labourer to assist with UK wide installation work. The scope of works is varied but mainly concentrates on the assembly, installation and maintenance of lifting equipment and special purpose machinery. Working with the Lead Site Engineer and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work on the following:
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- UK wide service and installation of bespoke lifting solutions including manipulators and balancers.
- Installation and commissioning of overhead cranes, gantries, jibs, hoists and various lifting equipment on site throughout the UK.
- Emergency and planned remedial repairs of lifting equipment across customer sites.
- Mechanical assembly and fitting work (both in house and at customer sites)
- Completing daily job sheets and checklists to the required standard
- Carrying out works using your own initiative to ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently and professionally

The installation work will involve assisting the Lead Engineer with required tasks - fork lift truck driving, drilling concrete, tightening bolts, tool organisation, manual handling and organising parts / tools.

**Essential Requirements**
- Full UK driving license - travel across the UK will be required
- Recognised Fork lift truck licence (ITSAR or similar - no internal courses).
- A good understanding of the English language, both verbal and written.
- A willingness to work away and work extra hours including occasional weekends (as and when required).

**Desirable**
- Working at height experience/training (training will be given)

You will also be required to adhere to the companies Health and Safety policy and quality management system.
