**The What...**

Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Brand & Campaigns, this role will bring a high calibre of marketing support and expertise to the marketing team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to own, manage and develop the Hollywood Bowl Group's (HBG) support for its bowling centre/mini golf teams and to implement tactical campaign activity to support the national marketing plan and retail calendar. This role will proactively manage and execute effective marketing campaigns on HBG's behalf to its customers, team members and consumers. You will be expected to work within agreed financial budgets and time deadlines and to demonstrate sound marketing expertise, commercial acumen and a strong customer service ethic.

The responsibilities of the Marketing Executive include:

- Support the Brand & Campaigns Manager in the implementation of the national marketing plan and retail calendar, supporting campaigns, key trading dates and local centre initiatives
- Manage seasonal campaigns end to end, preparing detailed plans and briefs across media, creative, PR, print and digital working closely with inhouse teams and external agencies. Measure results and analyse effectiveness of activity.
- Support on the execution of the social media content calendar, measurement and reporting
- Support the Brand & Campaigns Manager to implement the national media plan, including paid social, programmatic, brand and content partnerships, above the line campaigns and local media
- Brief, manage and evaluate PR campaigns and influencer activity
- Create, develop and manage marketing assets, including writing copy for different audiences and channels, collateral creation, POS, video, digital images, social media content.
- Support the launch of new initiatives either nationally or to local markets, e.g. new centre openings, rebrands and refurbishments
- Monitor the effectiveness, measure and report on marketing activities
- Support centre teams and regional teams with tactical marketing initiatives for attraction/engagement/retention of customers, administering requests from centres using marketing support systems and using marketing expertise
- Support the Brand & Campaigns Manager to manage relationships with key suppliers to KPI's, including creative agencies, print management, PR, Media, merchandise, graphic designers, AV and experiential
- Support the Content Marketing Manager with content creation and systems management
- Give brand guidance support for the wider marketing team and business
- Identify and champion opportunities to enhance customer experience across the full customer journey
- Ensure timely, relevant and accurate content is maintained across channels for all customer groups, e.g. intranet, POS, eComms, in-centre screens and music
- Ensuring prices are recorded accurately and timely and are communicated effectively
- Keep accurate records of costs, invoices and ROI across all marketing activities you are involved in

To be successful, you'll have:

- Previous Marketing experience across a broad marketing mix
- Experience within the Hospitality/Leisure/Retail industry (not essential)
- Excellent proficiency of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Demonstrable commercial awareness
- Demonstrable organisation and time management experience
- Able to develop and work effectively to project plans
- Experience of managing quality and effective output from marketing suppliers
- Experience in marketing communications, copy writing and editing and campaign management
