**Cleaner**

MB DIY is a specialist supplier to the home improvement industry, we have a large premises with a showroom, warehouse space and office spaces. We are looking for an experienced cleaner to ensure we maintain a high quality and clean working and sales environment.

**Position Overview**:
The position involves cleaning our office areas and showroom area. Cleaning hours are between Monday - Friday during the day, shifts start on or before 7:00am each day.

**Responsibilities**:
This person will be responsible for the cleaning of our customer facing showroom, staff offices, communal kitchen and toilet areas. amongst other general cleaning duties such as emptying bins etc.
- Experience essential for this role, a list of some of the detailed responsibilities are highlighted below.
- Keeping a clean and tidy environment
- Excellent cleaning standards
- Understanding of health and safety procedures and complying with these procedures
- Experience using professional cleaning equipment including heavy duty buffers, carpet cleaners, and industrial hoovers.
- Cleaning stock level management, ensuring cleaning equipment is stocked and purchased accordingly.
- Replenishing toilet rolls and any other cleaning consumables within the company.
- Ensuring cleaning cupboard is kept tidy and safe at all times.
- Time management is essential, you will be responsible for managing your own time and areas when cleaning.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
