Due to unprecedented growth and company development, we are looking to recruit an Purchasing Administrator to work alongside an established team in order to further support an ever-expanding strong customer base. About the role:

- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure procurement of high-quality supplies based on competitive prices, availability, necessity, quality & logístical expenses.
- Raw material procurement, monitoring stock levels, coordinate reorder processes to prevent shortages
- Forecasting stock requirements using average usage and trends
- Create, implement and maintain spreadsheets and procedures, including reviewing and updating our manufacturing stock system database
- Product costing analysis
- Collaborate with all departments to understand procurement needs and specifications
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage supplier relations
- Evaluate vendor performance, addressing issues and ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Coordinate and manage the shipping of goods, ensuring timely and secure delivery
- Collaborate with shipping carriers and logistics partners to optimise unaccompanied transportation routes and costs
- Track shipments and communicate delivery updates to relevant stakeholders
- Implement and maintain an effective inventory tracking system for manufacturing supplies
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with records
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, shipments and inventory transactions
- Prepare and manage purchase orders via Quickbooks, commercial invoices and shipping documents
- Maintain office supplies, inventory and re-order as necessary
- Managing key and fob allocation and distribution of company workwear
- Using and updating a variety of software packages such as Reflow (CRM), Microsoft Word, Google Calendar, Outlook and Excel
- Liaise with office colleagues, production staff, field technicians, customers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Complete tasks to deadlines and in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Perform any ad hoc duties as requested by your manager further supporting our customers and the wider Forge Leisure team

About you:

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Accomplished negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and pricing from suppliers
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Highly organised, have superb interpersonal skills and have proven experience in an administration role
- Attention to detail with good analytical skills
- Capable of implementing system and procedure improvements
- Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes
- IT confident with CRM systems and Microsoft packages such as word and excel
- Confident in working within a busy manufacturing environment
- Previous experience within purchasing roles &/or logistics role in manufacturing or similar setting
- Up to £27,000.00 depending on experience
- Quarterly Discretionary Bonus Scheme

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
