**Specialist Day Service Provision - Hopwood Court.**

**Support Workers - Various posts and hours.**

The service offer’s a day service to adults with Learning Disabilities and a dementia service that supports people with advanced Dementia.

Are you a kind and caring person looking to develop a career in Adult Social Care? We are recruiting enthusiastic; person centred Support Workers to join our Specialist Day Service Team at Hopwood Ct. Previous experience is desirable however not essential, as full training will be provided, including recognised qualifications in Health and Social Care.

If you are ready to embrace a new chapter in your career that will really be effective to people’s lives, then this may be for you. Our team cannot wait to welcome enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join them in this vibrant, lively person-centred day service.

We know you are going to love positively engaging with service users during their day supporting with daily living skills following a person-centred support plan. You will also be enabling our service users to express themselves to make choices and promote their independence. You will have to attend team meetings and be available for training and competency assessment for your own development.
- Some of our service users have behaviours that challenge, and many have complex needs.
- This role will not be without its challenges, and we do not shy away from that, so we are enthusiastic about ensuring we recruit the right person to this role.
- Your commitment to safeguarding the welfare of the most vulnerable members of the community to enable them to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their full potential will be one of your strengths.
- In addition, your ability to assess risks and look for solutions will play a key part of this role.
- Consult with individuals, their families, other professionals, and agencies involved in the provision of care and support for service users, to ensure positive outcomes, independence, and well-being.
