We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Operations Controller to join our busy security control room team. This role offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development within the company.

As an Operations Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our security control room. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting hourly check calls with our security team members working in the field, receiving alarm activations from various monitoring stations, and dispatching and tasking mobile response officers accordingly. Additionally, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, such as completing reports, managing rosters, covering open shifts, and assisting the management team. This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and the ability to work with computers for extended periods. The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off days, with occasional night shifts as required. Bank holidays worked will be compensated at double the standard rate. While a driving license is preferred, it is not essential. All applicants must hold a valid SIA license.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct hourly check calls with security team members working in the field
- Receive and manage alarm activations from various monitoring stations
- Dispatch and task mobile response officers based on alarm activations
- Perform various administrative tasks, including report completion, roster management, and covering open shifts
- Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a customer-focused approach and provide exceptional service to clients
- Demonstrate excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Comfortably work with computers for extended periods of time
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

**Requirements**:

- Valid SIA license is mandatory
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in working with computers and technology
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work 4 on 4 off day shifts, with occasional night shifts
- Willingness to work on bank holidays, with double pay compensation
- A driving license is preferred but not essential

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
