**Venture Recruitment Partners are supporting a FTSE 100 Business in their recruitment of a Data Manager. The role is based in Bristol with hybrid working (2/3 days per week in the office). They are offering a starting salary of £50-£55k + benefits.
About the role**
To manage central functions of data submission, compliance and completions / accreditations in line with company and external governing body requirements.

**Main tasks**
- Manage compliance and audit functions for all government funded and commercial provision to ensure all delivery is accounted for in terms of finance, compliance and accreditation, through a series of internal controls and verification visits
- Ensure all funding claims are accurate and made on a timely basis, including the management of the Apprenticeship Service portal to ensure all levy funds are drawn down appropriately
- Use MI to ensure contracts are compliant with the appropriate funding organisations and produce check reports to ensure operational teams are well informed to make decisions
- Manage helpdesk functions to support Employer Apprenticeship Service queries
- Ensure the company is conforming to external Quality Standards and review on a regular basis with Operational teams
- Manage the accreditation team to ensure business compliance with Awarding Body / End Point Assessment requirements
- Maintain regular dialogue and close ties with contracts and wider support functions

**Additional key accountabilities**
- Establish and maintain clear process to manage the Group Apprenticeship Service Portal
- Ensure operational teams receive feedback on all internal and external control findings
- Provide support to Projects and bid teams
- Other appropriate task that may be required from time to time
- Prioritise resources as appropriate and maintain appropriate manpower and skills
- Effectively deliver / manage staff management including recruitment, mentoring, training, target setting and performance assessment

- Experience in data management and compliance within an apprenticeship environment
- Management of activities in line with government funding rules
- Proven track record of consistently achieving performance targets
- Commercially astute and business focussed
- Experience of managing relationships, both external and internal, to drive project outcomes
- Experience in leading and managing remote and office-based teams
- Effective management of resources and operational risk
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly numerate and able to work with figures
- IT literate - Office, Databases - SQL (Maytas)

- Knowledge of the work-based learning environment, qualifications and accreditation process

- Working knowledge of Data and Formula Funding
- Working Knowledge of an External Financial Controlled environment

**Qualifications**
- Industry related qualifications such as Degree, HND, or NVQs or equivalent are desirable
