Senior Data Privacy & Protection Analyst


The Data Privacy & Protection Senior Analyst has the primary mission to secure and promote the appropriate use, treatment, storage, conservation, governance, and timely deletion of information processed by the company (including personally identifiable information and confidential business information) to comply with all relevant privacy and data protection laws, and to gather, preserve, and distribute proof of compliance where applicable.



Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • and verify the application of all data protection regulations in the local market.
  • the implementation of the data protection and privacy program, including, but not limited to, the development and implementation of policies, the identification of technologies to support the objectives of the policy and supporting risk assessments (e.g., third party risks, confidentiality, data protection). Undertake or have performed assessment aimed at identifying risks related to data protection and confidentiality. Advise the business and IT teams on good “Privacy by Design” practices.
  • on and undertake due diligence and contract negotiation efforts regarding Data Processors. Ensure adequacy of Data Protection Agreements and Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • in the development of personal data processing registers that include information processes and related third-parties, retention periods, legal bases for processing, and other pertinent information.
  • efforts to provide timely responses to data subject requests.
  • the enterprise-wide data protection and privacy program, ensuring that information on all media and formats is properly referenced, documented and that their conditions and retention period are clearly defined.
  • and advise on security incidents and investigations or privacy complaints and undertake reporting and remedial actions as necessary.
  • to questions from business colleagues on application of compliance program in applicable line of business, country(ies) or specialty area.
  • and report on monitoring activities; ensure proper documentation.
  • and deliver data protection and privacy training and awareness programs.
  • projects or duties as assigned.



Required Skills and Experience:

  • degree in any discipline and 3+ years of experience in managing Data Privacy issues.
  • in English or French required
  • – Approx 20%.



Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • certification in information privacy protection/privacy (i.e., CIPP/E; CIPM; CIPT, CISA, CISSP) is preferred. JD, MBA, preferred
  • in using and implementing the platform OneTrust
  • strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
  • determination, rigor, ability to lead audits, document and follow up on fixes until the objectives defined by the company are reached
  • communication and advanced writing and presentation skills
  • organization skills
  • to work with autonomy

  • drafting privacy notices; managing data incidents; leading Privacy Impact Assessments; negotiating contracts; leading regulatory change management programs; drafting policies and procedures
  • to other global Data Protection laws (ex: CPRA, LGPD, GDPR, HIPAA)
  • working in an international team environment with different cultures
