We are looking for a technical support officer to support the local council within their children services team.

**You MUST have previous in depth minute taking experience.**

Full office presence required based within Ilford.
- To provide a high quality technical administrative support service, relevant to the area of business, to the directors, head of service, principal officers and other administration functions as required
- assist the support service with a range of technical management duties including carrying out research for input into reports
- deal with enquires, ensuring that appropriate advise, guidance and referral's are made.
- use own innovative to handle and process to resolve queries or problems based on experience and judgement
- To provide cover and deputise on occasion for their line manager and other technical officers
- To attend and participate positively in team and other meetings as required
- To provide cover work for other team members in absence
- To participate in the council employees communication systems
- To take notes within meetings and court hearings
- As instructed manager and maintain calendars, arranging appointments, meetings ensuring officers have the correct information and papers for meetings
- to ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times, particularly when dealing with issues involving restricted access information and or service users.

This role will involve close liaison with the head of services and will require judgemental skills in prioritising meetings.

£14.81 per hour PAYE paid weekly
