**Job summary**:
Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) is looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our busy and friendly team of dedicated healthcare professionals and support staff located at HMS Nelson Sickbay, Queen Street, Portsmouth.
The position offers 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:
**Person specification**:
- To be the initial point of contact between patients and the medical centre ensuring patients requirements are met and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Arranging all medical appointments for the Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists (physios) and Medical Ratings.
- Taking and recording phone messages for all clinicians.
- Ensuring efficient and appropriate use of clinical appointment times.
