**About the College**
- Middlesbrough College is the largest General Further Education College in the Tees Valley and has been situated in Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, since 2008. It has developed from the initial main site to the vibrant campus that is now in place with our Campus Heart, dedicated Sixth Form, STEM Centre, Higher Education Centre, and further development for our apprentices in progress.
- The College provides excellent facilities for approximately 13,000 students from across the region and whilst we are very proud of our campus and the equipment our students have access to, we are clear that it is the experience and dedication of our staff that make a positive difference to the lives of our students, helping them to achieve their educational goals and progress into work, higher education, or apprenticeships.

**About the role**

To instruct, train, demonstrate and assess students on competence based/skills based learning programmes in the Motor Vehicle workshop.

**Qualifications**
- To hold a relevant Motor Vehicle qualification at a minimum Level 3.
- To be a qualified teacher or must be prepared to commence an appropriate teaching qualification on appointment to the post.
- Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) or willing to undertake.
- A commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
- Assessor and Verifier Awards - Desirable.
- Teaching or Training Experience - Desirable.
- First Aid qualification - Desirable.

**Experience**
- Current and relevant industrial experience or time served apprentice in the Motor Vehicle Industry
- Teaching and\or Training Experience - Desirable.
