Production Team Leader

**Summary**

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Production Team Leader to join our team in Yarnton and achieve all required customer deliveries on time by leading teams of production associates working in a variety of linked manufacturing and assembly cells. You will be meeting productivity, quality, and delivery targets and liaise with all support functions to support continuous improvement activities throughout the production line.
- Supervising teams of production associates to carry out all daily production activities to achieve all production and quality targets.
- Supporting the Production Manager with all daily manufacturing tasks including:

- Planning shifts, staff absences and holidays, OT rosters, etc
- Ensuring correct material feed to lines and making all necessary MRP transactions.
- Support all production tracking tools, data gathering, and visual factory.
- Supporting continuous improvement activities including Kaizen and problem-solving and be a champion of shop floor 5S.
- Understand daily and weekly production plans arranging part changeovers etc as required.
- Supporting engineering change and breakpoint management.
- Arranging cell workforce, maintaining skills matrix and training logs.
- Carrying out layer process audits and other quality activity support as required.
- Other duties as required.

**To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need**:

- Experience in a similar supervisory position preferably in an automotive volume manufacturing environment.
- Computer literate including Microsoft Excel and experience interacting with an MRP system.
- Experience in maintaining some or all statistical run charts, downtime logs, quarantine logs, output boards, FTQ data, etc.
- Experience managing health and safety policies like COSHH.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills able to maintain discipline, hit targets whilst taking a friendly and helpful approach.
