Accounting Apprentice

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing outgoing purchase orders
- Tasks to include the creation, distribution and matching of supplier purchase orders to invoices/receipts.
- Entering supplier invoices into our account’s ledger and project management software and ensuring all approval protocols are followed.
- Liasing closely with cost centres and producing and distributing customer invoices.
- Reconciling company credit card purchases.
- Tracking timesheets and expenses have been submitted and approved.
- Producing remittances and statements using our accounts software.
- Ensuring our customer/supplier details are kept up to date.
- Keeping track and using our credit checking software for suppliers and customers.
- Providing support to reception and the administration team as required.
- Any other finance/admin tasks as required by the business.

Personal Specification:

- Be confident, well rounded and proactive.
- Be able to work in a remote environment for 80% of the working week.
- Have a knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
- Be a team player and willing to support all aspects of the company.

Monday to Friday 9 - 5 with half hour lunch or 9 - 5.30 with an hour lunch. Working from home every day apart from Tuesdays where you are required to attend the office.

£17K per annum, with reviews taking place every August.

Pension Scheme, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, Health Care Scheme.
