This would suit a recently qualified accountant who is looking for a commercially focused role that will interface with senior stakeholders across the business.

Role overview:
Primary contact for the General Manager and regional team for all financial matters.
Ensuring the organisations financial controls and processes are followed.
Reviewing monthly account reconciliations.
Recommending and preparing financial business cases for investment, capital expenditure and change programmes resulting in cash flow and profit improvement.
Proactively seeking and recommending profit improvement suggestions for the region
Ensuring regional period-end close and submissions are made on time and in full.
Preparing regional re-forecasting and budgeting.
Maintaining other key performance data as required.

Qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification
Experience of working with and supporting operational colleagues
Advanced Excel with excellent analytical skills
Power BI and project management experience would be an advantage
Management accounting experience gained in the service, logistics or waste industries an advantage
Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioitise effectively
Resilient with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
Self motivated and proactive with a 'can do' attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
