**Job Purpose**

There are two elements to this role:

- People Team administrative and operational support. This person will support our UK People Partner in routine HR tasks to include maintaining employee documentation, supporting benefits administration, responding to employee and manager queries and also provide support to the wider People Team.
- Alongside this, this person will be responsible for looking after our Godalming and London offices from a workplace services perspective to include liaising with our cleaning and maintenance staff, keeping our kitchen tidy and stocked with healthy and delicious snacks, and ensuring our staff have the right equipment to do their jobs.

The role requires 1 day per week in our London office (Farringdon) and 2-3 days in our office just outside of Godalming, Surrey.

**Main Responsibilities**
- This is a key role at Unily and due to the nature of the responsibilities, this person will have a very visible profile for both new and existing people within the business. For that reason, they must be able to champion Unily’s core values and company culture. The responsibilities for the role are as follows:

- Issuing of documents including, contracts, letters and reports relating to HR activities.
- Benefits administration including adding and removing employees from benefit schemes and responding to employee questions.
- Maintain employees’ electronic files and ensure accurate and timely entry of HR transactions data in company systems related to change of status, employee benefits, training, and termination of employment.
- Support offboarding activities for exiting team members, including scheduling exit interviews, sending communications about last-day details and arranging the return of company equipment.
- Involvement in ongoing HR projects.
- Oversee our Godalming and London offices, ensure everything is in working order and be the “go-to” person for employee requests or questions. Looking after purchase requests, beverage/snack inventory and running office errands. Serve as the primary point of contact for property management and third-party vendors.
- Take ownership of ongoing projects related to creating an inviting and collaborative office space.
- Ensure that health and safety policies and relevant risk assessments are up to date, making sure we have adequate fire marshals and first aiders who are certified.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- 0-2 years’ experience in a People Team / similar administrative role or related qualification.
- Process driven and detail-oriented. Able to multi-task.
- Ability to follow through on appointed projects.
- Friendly, approachable and proactive.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Extremely organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to travel between Surrey and London on a weekly basis (travel expenses from Surrey to London will be provided).
