Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for an **Account Assistant** to join our growing team in **Livingston** on the **Heineken** contract. You will be working alongside the Management Accountant to successfully deliver the provision of financial information including weekly costings, monthly accounts, forecasts, budgets, KPI’s and balance sheet reconciliations in a time efficient and consistent manner along with weekly and monthly customer reporting requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday - Friday working the hours of 09:00 - 17:00 with hybrid working.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of **£25,000 - £27,000** per annum. In addition, we offer 31 days holiday pay inclusive bank holidays, as well as the option to buy additional days. **You will be working for an accredited employer of CIMA and ACCA.**

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Assist in the preparation of Weekly and Monthly Financial reporting for both GXO and the customer
- Support sites in Coupa and Accounts Payable systems as well as supplier reconciliations when required
- Complete weekly Fuel/Payroll/Cost analysis
- Prepare full balance sheet reconciliations in which all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis with risk and opportunities clearly identified

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Proven track record in successfully establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with both internal and external customers
- Knowledge of financial management systems. Experience of SAP would be advantageous
- Experience managing challenging stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment and tight time constraints with accuracy and attention to detail
