Account Handler

Our client who are a leading manufacturing organisation in the Luxury goods industry, have an exciting opportunity for an Account Handler to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will be responsible for managing specific customer accounts for new and existing customers. You will be providing support to Customers, Sales teams, and members of the team with sales order processing and delivery accounts for UK and Ireland.

Salary - £27,000

Contract - 12 month fixed term contact

Working Hours - Full time - Monday to Friday

Location - Livingston

Hybrid Working - 3 days office and 2 days at home

Your main responsibilities include:

- Daily processing of sales orders for designated customer accounts in the UK
- Maintaining customer accounts with daily/weekly updates on enquiries, deliveries, stock issues etc.
- Maintaining an accurate client database with correct Master Data information (SAP)
- Ensuring deliveries on time for all customers
- Ensuring orders have been delivered prior to the Customer chasing for confirmation
- Providing regular communication to CSS highlighting potential issues and problems with customer deliveries, providing recommendations for solutions
- Following up complex customer enquiries to confirm resolution
- Assisting with the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements

You must be able to demonstrate the following experience and skillset:

- Previous experience in a similar Account Management/Customer Service/Sales position
- Excellent IT skills, including but not limited to Microsoft programs (Excel, WORD, PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Real passion for providing fantastic customer service and enjoy building relationships
- Strong numeration skills would also be beneficial
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Strong self-motivation and demonstrate proactivity
- A team-player
