The College’s team of Learning Support Assistants provide learning support and guidance to enable learners to achieve the maximum advantage from the learning opportunities available to them. In recent years, the College has grown beyond expectations itsApprenticeship, full-time and part-time offer, in turn increasing the opportunities available to our learners. At the same time, the hard work and commitment of the team have ensured continued outstanding success.

As a result of this, we are now seeking to appoint a number of talented individuals to support in a range of learning situations, including the workplace, our learners with additional learning support needs studying various vocational or academic qualifications.

**What you will do?**

You will provide a high quality, pro-active learning support service that contributes to an outstanding learner experience for all learners who have additional learning support needs - enabling them to become as independent as possible and to achieve theirlearning aims.

Applicants should be educated to at least GCSE grade C (4-9) or hold maths and English Level 2 qualifications. A Teaching Assistant’s Qualification or equivalent at Level 2 or above is essential.

This is a permanent, full-time post (37 hours per week) but consideration will be given to those wishing to work on a part time basis. A range of hours and working patterns, to suit the needs of our learners, are available and will be discussed with anyoneinvited to attend for interview. The starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of experience.
