Our client, based in Leicestershire**,** is currently recruiting for a HR Manager on a fixed-term contract for 18 months. Our client is nationally renowned in the education sector and boasts impressive employee and student satisfaction scores.
The position is due to start in mid-March on a full time basis and the salary is £38,000-£44,000 based on experience.
**Duties will include (but not limited to)**:
- Lead the Recruitment, Selection and Induction processes for all academies within the Trust and the central team
- Provide professional and consistent advice across a range of HR areas, including pay and performance, wellbeing, disciplinary, grievance and capability.
- Effectively manage employment relations cases through to resolution ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.
- Oversee day to day HR administrative operations ensuring compliance with all pre-vetting and safeguarding requirements.
- Manage and develop the core HR team reporting to the role including the coordination of team activity, setting objectives, mentoring and supervision.
- Oversee recruitment and selection process.
- Partner with and support managers to coach and guide around employee relations and performance management issues and engagement best practice.
- Provide support to the Head of HR for reorganisations including role changes, redundancies, changes to terms and employment and TUPE exercises
- Coordinate the exit interview process, providing analysis and feedback.
- Analyse staff surveys and devise action plans based on employee feedback on performance
- Responsible for the production and analysis of HR data metrics including monthly data including turnover, sickness, training, diversity data
- Producing appropriate reports and management information as requested
- Oversee the Learning and Development function
- Support the development of the succession planning framework
- Act as the HR representative on the college Equality and Diversity Forum
**Skills, knowledge and expertise required**:
- Currently holds or is working towards a CIPD qualification
- Minimum of two years HR experience ideally within an education environment
- Possess sound knowledge of HR policies, employment law and codes of practice and demonstrable skills
- Line Management experience and a strong knowledge of generalist HR
