**Description**

**Leadership**:

- Drive the delivery of the Career Pathways Programme, ensuring that all sub-projects are fully scoped, planned and effectively managed to achieve all deliverables to time and standard
- Establish and lead project teams across departments, People Team colleagues and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the business to enable the articulation, development and adoption of stepping-stones within clearly integrated career pathways, both verticaland horizontal, and which are aligned with our culture and values.
- Lead HRSLT and People Team through the design and delivery of this initiative, working in full partnership to ensure continued engagement and input at all stages and to ensure that the project is delivered cross-collaboratively
- Support/ nurture business leaders' appetite for adoption of processes through building effective and trusting relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their continued engagement and commitment to the Programme
- Take the lead in managing all related project teams established in the business to support this project to maintain engagement, commitment and achievement of all deliverables to time and standard

**Strategy Development**:

- Co-create with other HR teams and relevant business stakeholders a strategy for creation of career pathways analysing 'as-is' state and recommending future state of pathways.
- Ensure career pathways are in line with the business growth strategy.

**Pathways Development**:

- Determine transferable skills across the organisation to illustrate approach to career development.
- Work closely with Professional Advancement & Org Development team to create skill toolkits to enable development within and across pathways and to educate colleagues and managers how the career pathways should be utilised for development and career progress
- Ensure, in conjunction with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) team, that the Career Pathways infrastructure and related policies and processes and criteria for success, development and advancement are inclusive, fair and build trust.

**Planning & Organising**:

- Partner with our Policy and Reward Directors to ensure alignment of philosophy and processes for promotion, pay for skills and skills development with career pathways
- Ensure career pathways policy clearly relates reward, grading and job families, helping colleagues to understand proper career advancement path
- Ensure compliance with local employment regulations for equality.
- Develop a robust governance structure for all promotion and career pathway processes, including fair and measurable assessment processes where required.

**Profile**
- Creating & implementing career pathways
- Proven delivery in evaluating, developing, and implementing career advancement strategies across a global organisation.
- Very strong Programme management and alignment with strategy skills
- Employee experience management and excellence.
- Analytic and diagnostic skills.
- Strong Project Management skills and experience with an ability to think and work both strategically and operationally
- Experience in design and implementation of employee programs and able to track the results of them.
- An interest in organisational culture and values with a sensitivity & understanding towards local cultural norms that exist across a global organisation.
- Experience with process improvement.
- Engaging communication style with high attention to detail across all written communication mediums.
- Experience in a global multinational organisation to execute strategy via an often matrix environment.
- Experience in employee analytics methods to gauge engagement and using data to justify decision making
