**Location**:ACT Head Office, Cardiff (Hybrid Working**, 3/2 split and travel across ACT sites)**

**Starting Salary: £30,700 per annum (rising to £33,200 per annum)**

We are looking for an experienced counsellor to provide counselling and guidance services and pastoral support to young people, adults and staff across all ACT Centres. A high level of flexibility is required, as well as a desire to positively contribute to elements of our Care, Support and Guidance strategy. You will be dynamic and creative in your approach and be committed to maintaining confidentiality. You will also be willing to provide in-house training for staff on mental health and wellbeing-related topics.

You will be required to work closely with teaching staff and Delivery Managers to ensure that learners receive the required support as soon as possible.

The role covers the South Wales area and fits within the Care, Support and Guidance department reporting to the Head of Continuous Improvement.

ACT is committed to promoting the Welsh language for both staff and learners, and whilst it is not considered essential criteria, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
