My client is a property development/management company with a large portfolio of commercial and residential properties across the North West. In the job of an Asset Manageryou will be responsible for day to day management of the property portfolio - ensuringcompliance with health and safety regulations, occupational leases and landlord’s obligations.
**The job of an Asset Manager is**:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, occupational leases and landlord’s obligations.
- Undertaking regular inspections of the property recording appropriate actions and liaising/instructing the operational team on rectification works.
- Co-ordinate with tenants.
- Preparation and implementation of appropriate charge budgets for the day to day.
- New Lease implementation
- Building Insurance Management
- Making sure all appropriate financial charges are collected on time
- Working with the letting team to Identify new letting opportunities
**The experience required for the Asset Manager job is**:
- Good knowledge of the commercial sector
- Ideally RICS qualified
- Great communication skills
- Proven track record of creating detailed financial and operational reports
- Relevant experience and track record of using initiative to create value for the client
- Ability to work under pressure with a degree of flexibility and to take control of own workload
