**Our Client;**
We are thrilled to be working alongside a genuine leader within the medical device design and manufacturing industry, who are looking to expand and add a facilities technician to their team.
**The role;**
- Perform planned and unplanned maintenance as required.
- Manage the local system for recording requests for facilities support, prioritising effectively to deliver customer satisfaction.
- Escalating to the Facilities Engineers, occasions where the expected service level can't be maintained or when requests are beyond their capability.
- Safely perform day-to-day minor works including: - Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Furniture assembly, Painting /decorating, Gardening, Driving
- Ensuring that they are compliant with current regulations and legislation
- To ensure pool cars assigned are: - Clean, safe and legal to drive. Defect free with a maintained logbook
- Perform the facilities support associate's duties in their absence.
- Deputise for the Facilities Engineers and other facilities Technicians in their absence
- Contractor management
- Point of contact for subcontract cleaning company
- Perform out of hours planned and unplanned work as required
- When required, participate in plant shutdown maintenance activities which normally occur during the Christmas holidays
- Ensuring housekeeping and cleanliness standards are met at all times
- When required to assist other associates / sub-contractors to fulfil their duties
- To ensure Health and Safety Policies and Environmental Policies are being adhered to at all times
- Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company Standard Operations Procedures (SOP's) at all times.
- Conduct themselves at all times in a professional and courteous manner, and maintain a good appearance acceptable to our customers and management
- The achievement of agreed personal objectives

- Computer literate
- Flexible individual
- Self-motivated and ability to work alone
- Team player
