Counter Assistant

- Package food items to customer orders

- Upsell additional items to enhance customer experience
- Help maintain a clean and organised counter area
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a takeaway or food service environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions accurately
- Strong culinary interest and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling procedures

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.49 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
