Supplier Relationship and Governance Manager

**Your Role**:

- Become the functional expert to support business decisions ensuring that performance and deliverables are clear, understood and delivered - trusted adviser
- Maintaining oversight of new activity (offshore or outsource) so that policies are adhered to and met including ensuring that scope is fully defined
- Embedding Willis Re into BAU for supply chain and offshoring
- Finding and handling the outsourced risk in conjunction with suppliers and intra group.
- Understand the contract(s) to ensure group companies/ suppliers meet or exceed their obligations.
- Ensure key milestone for outsourcing are captured and acted on in a timely manner
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain oversight of and reporting on business plans
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external parties through encouraging open dialogue
- Oversight of the change process to ensure accurate procedures are taken (ensuring gateway control challenges are in place as well as milestone tracking)
- Creating various monthly/ad hoc reports to support and inform applicable committees (in conjunction with the suppliers / intra group). Ensuring that meetings and management information are distributed in a timely manner (throughout the control layer - fromoperational oversight up to Exec) and act as secretariat at various meetings
- Analyse the regular performance reports to highlight areas where performance is inadequate (or is trending towards inadequate) in a timely manner and ensure remedies are enforced where applicable
- Ad hoc support of various projects that impact on suppliers and Business users
- Maintaining relevant market and industry knowledge for outsourcing

**Your Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications**:

- Educated to degree level or relevant applicable market experience and/ or education
- Proven knowledge of the Procurement and SRM lifecycles and associated policies and procedures especially adherence to FCA guidelines for a regulated company
- Good knowledge of contract make up and negotiation
- Strong track record in supporting outsourcing and governance oversight in the financial industry throughout the contract/SRM lifecycle.
- Management and oversight of Intra group and offshore service agreements
- Strong engagement skills and a track record of influencing
- Experience of the full spectrum of reporting inc, detailed MI and board level Exec reporting
- Managed outsourcing risks and developed associated mitigation strategies
- Ability to problem solve, think quickly and adeptly about how to address problems
- Not satisfied with the status quo, looks to improve processes and eliminate delays
- Expert in PowerPoint and excel to create high quality presentations to support governance meetings
- Contract negotiation experience, strong influencing skills and a decision maker
- Collaborative and team-orientated
- Eligible to work in the UK.
