SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an **Accounts Receivable Controller** on a **Temporary ongoing** basis. Our client are an established and highly successful business who are in need of some interim support. The role offers **flexible working**, with the requirement to go in to the office only once a week in Alfreton.
**Purpose of Role**
? Collect process and reconcile customer transactions/debt in accordance with agreed strategies and standards.
? Develop and maintain customer relationships
**As a Accounts Receivable Controller you will be responsible for**:
? To actively chase all outstanding customer debt in accordance with agreed terms, policies and procedures and to promptly resolve queries.
? To process customer transactions and debt in accordance with agreed standards.
? To develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
? Maximising cash-flow and minimizing the levels of overdue debt.
? Raising awareness and involving wider business in collection of debt.
? Developing and maintaining effective customer relationships
? Actively chase outstanding customer debt in accordance with agreed terms, policies and procedures and promptly resolve queries and/or
? Process and reconcile customer transactions and debt in accordance with agreed standards
? Analysis customer data to identify adverse behaviours and prevent exposure to risk
? Ensure the integrity of customer accounts.
? Provide accurate and timely information on the status of customer accounts/debt to inform business decisions, identify and escalate issues and manage customer expectations.
? Provide cover to other members of the team as and when required
? Develop and maintain external stakeholder financial relationships. Ensuring effective working relationships, regular communication and the optimisation of business results
? Develop and maintain internal contacts to ensure effective working relationships, regular communication and the optimisation of business results
? Maintain processes and controls to ensure transactions are recorded accurately, timely and in accordance with agreed accounting standards
? Develop functional understanding of systems processes and controls to effectively perform role
? Develop commercial awareness and capability to proactively manage customer relationships in accordance with agreed guidelines
**Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Ledger Services background (credit control)
? Experience of processing and handling large volumes of data
? Reconciliation of accounts with high volume/low value transactions
? Some experience in Ledger Services or general finance environment with exposure to Ledger Services
**Desirable**:
? Oracle experience
? Interrogation and manipulation of data electronically
? Strong numeric and analytical skills
? Strong communication, negotiating and influencing skills
