**Guideposts Trust**are currently looking for **Support Workers** to join our team based in **Witney.**You will join us on a **full time, permanent** basis (Monday to Friday) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£18,525 per annum.**

**About Us**:
Guideposts is a multi-disciplinary social care and mental health network focused first and foremost upon PEOPLE. As a charity we have over 50 years’ experience meeting the needs of individuals who face any number of complex challenges; from autism, learningdisability and mental health conditions, to physical disability and age-related conditions, such as dementia, sensory impairment and mobility problems. Whether through active care and support services, information advice and guidance or independent livingand training projects; Guideposts exists in order to connect people and their carers with opportunities.

**TheSupport Workers role**:
As our**Support Workers,**you will work as part of a small but dedicated team and use your own initiative to deliver person centred support.

Can you help us improve the lives of some of the most disadvantaged people in our local communities, by helping them access the support, opportunities and skills they need to overcome social challenges and achieve greater wellbeing?

You will join our popular GLADS Hub and Outdoor Wellbeing Centre in Witney where adults with learning disabilities meet (in person and virtually) to have fun, be creative, learn new skills and get out and about in the local community.

Full training will be given in relation to the job requirements.

**What we are looking for in ourSupport Workers**:

- Creative, motivated and adaptable, community focussed to help us to deliver our exciting projects across West Oxfordshire
- Experience working with vulnerable people and/or children would be an advantage
- Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills
- The ability to plan and deliver activities that provide a variety of experiences for the people who attend our services
- Passion and drive to make a difference
- The ability to follow our updated health and safety regulations and work in accordance with all safeguarding procedures.
- NVQ/QCF Health and Social Care Level 2/3 is an advantage but not essential

**An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.The cost will be met by the employer.**
