Dog Grooming Assistant

We are looking for a animal lover who is hard working, career driven and patient to join our team. Experience with dogs is preferable but not essential. Must be willing to work to deadlines, be extremely time efficient, interact with customers professionally and be able to handle all breeds of dogs. This is not a job for the faint hearted and will include cleaning up after dogs, dealing with difficult dogs and customers but will also include lots of cuddles and kisses from the dogs and plenty of job satisfaction.
This is a trainee position
**Responsibilities**:
- Bathing dogs to a certain level
- Drying them throughly
- Fluff drying to a certain level
- Throughly brushing and combing their fur out
- Nails and clearing pads
- Maintaining the salon into a certain standard of cleanliness
This is a role where you will be taught everything you need to know regarding preparing dogs to be fully groomed. There is space to progress into trimming dogs and to become a Dog groomer within this role
- Be comfortable communicating effectively with customers
- Be able to handle dogs with care and confidence
- Be enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional work and excelling in your role
- To work well as part of a busy team and under own initiative

**Salary**: depending on experience
Expected hours: 35-42
Schedule:
