Do you love working in partnership and want to make a difference to our threatened habitats and species? We have been successful in securing £1.7m from the Species Survival Fund (SSF) to work in the North Wessex Downs National Landscape (NWDNL), across 7 sites, restoring a range of habitats and benefitting a diversity of species. The P4N Project Coordinator will manage the P4N Partnership & ensure the successful delivery of this project, contributing to species abundance, working closely with a Project Support Officer and the Partners on the ground. Familiarity with the National Lottery Heritage Fund (Heritage Fund) and/or Defra funded projects will be beneficial.

We are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced, and enthusiastic team member to coordinate the delivery of this project ensuring that objectives are delivered to agreed timeframes, within budget and ensuring that the project is monitored and evaluated as required by the SSF.

This will be a rewarding role, providing support and guidance to each of the 9 Partners and liaising with the Heritage Fund staff and appointed Monitor, to ensure that the project is being delivered and managed successfully.

The Partners are a range of private estates, landowners and experienced charities and they will be procuring, managing and delivering their individual sub-projects on the ground, following SSF guidance, but with your help. The habitats being restored/created/enhanced include heathland, wood pasture, chalk grassland, hazel coppice, wetland, regenerative arable, chalk grassland and ponds. You will work closely with the P4N Project Support Officer, who will assist in the project administration, finance, monitoring and evaluation.
