VMS Fleet Management are an independent, industry leading Fleet and Accident Management specialist. We have been established since 2002 and have office locations throughout the UK. We provide a wide range of Fleet Management services to blue chip UK fleet operators and insurance companies. Our services include: Accident Management, Contract Hire, Maintenance Management, Vehicle Hire, Refrigeration and Fleet Disposal.
VMS have built a strong, dynamic client base and pride ourselves on customer retention. Customer service and client focus are paramount to the business, and as a result, a Client Support Officer is now required to work onsite at our client’s office.
**Summary**
The role of Client** **Support Officer** **will require an extremely methodical and personable individual. In addition, you will have a keen attention to detail and be self-motivated to ensure smooth administration procedures for a major account are always followed to. The role is office based and working from the customer head office in Deeside
The primary aim of the role is to ensure that the client’s needs and requirements are met and that the overall service level agreement is delivered in an efficient and timely manner.
The key day-to-day responsibilities of this role are varied and include
- Build close working relationships with members of the Iceland Digital Operations Team and VMS Key Account Manager
- Build close working relationships with Iceland stores and the Area DSS
- Provide Administrative support to the Digital Operations Team
- Liaise between client stores and Fleet Management provider daily on varied escalations
- Solve incoming telephone queries from Iceland Stores and Area DSS
- Take ownership of and resolve complaints
- Audit internal databases and systems
- Ordering and management of fuel cards for the customer
- Oversee management of van locations across the Iceland Store network
- Facilitate vans moves between stores as and when required
- Actively manage service closures for the customer when impacted by van availability
- Assist VMS Maintenance Team with fleet compliance - daily checks and mileage records
- Contribute to the ongoing success of the VMS Group
**Key Skills Required**:
- Able to confidently communicate, both orally and written.
- Proficient in use of Excel.
- Detail oriented and technically minded.
- Able to work in a team and work in a team and on own initiative.
- Able to successfully manage time and workload.
- A proactive person and seek to prevent problems.
- Comfortable working with all levels up to senior management
