**Job Description**:
Joining as a Customs Team Leader, you will take a lead role in managing our clients’ customs needs.

The Customs Team Leader will be responsible for a small team, keeping up-to-date with current guidelines and changes and assisting in communicating these to our customers.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30

Key Duties
- Process EU Import clearances - both Inventory linked (Destin8) and pre-lodged (GVMS)
- Process ROW / Deep sea import clearances when needed
- Provide holiday cover for EU Export & Transit documents
- Process IPAFFS declarations
- Accountable for Charging Duty/VAT fees
- Providing effective training for new team members
- Ensuring the department is fully compliant
- Dealing effectively with customs related issues as they arise

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a similar role of 2-3 years
- Knowledge of European and deep sea import clearances
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good level of IT skills
- Understanding of custom system
- Ability to prioritise workload
