You will work within a busy multidisciplinary Housing Options and Homelessness service, assisting households under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 to prevent and relieve homelessness. People leaving prison are often left with limited housing options, it is therefore paramount that agencies work together to identify and support people about to leave prison. You will work with accommodation providers, including private landlords, social housing and supported accommodation providers to build up strong relationships to increase provision of affordable housing.

Previous experience of delivering housing advice and working with homelessness client groups is desirable.

We are recruiting to a number of roles in the team, based in The Portal, Ellesmere Port. Work location will be flexible involving office-based, working from home, working at other council offices, and visiting landlords and tenants across the district.
