**Your role and responsibilities**

Working as part of a team, you will deliver targeted outreach support in locations and communities, engaging with children, families, and members community as a **Youth Justice Support Practitioner** in the **Specialist Criminal Exploitation Hubs**.

**You will**:

- have experience working with partner agencies
- be able to build trust and work constructively with those at risk of criminal exploitation and with their families whilst maintaining professional boundaries
- have excellent communication skills
- be resilient
- be well organised and creative
- work well in a team
- work some **evenings and weekends** depending on the need
- be based within the Suffolk Youth Justice Service, which is dedicated to changing the lives of young people in Suffolk. We work with children and young people to help them stop offending, fulfil their potential, and go on to lead successful lives

Alongside this, we work with victims of youth crime using restorative approaches. As part of our work, we support and encourage the rights of children, keep them safe and promote their physical and mental wellbeing.
